"Light up your life with colors"

Who am I?

My name is Sophie, I'm in my thirties and I'm French.
I currently live in the United States with my husband and my son.

I discovered my taste for photography in my youth. My mother was a model and also did photography, but I did not know until later. I always like to look at things from a particular angle; that is to say: my point of view!

When I could financially buy my first camera and lens a few years ago, I started. I did not regret.
Since that day, I'm still adept and I love trying to transcribe the beauty of what my eyes see in my photos.

Of course family life is a priority for me, which has left me less time for my projects. But I have ambition and dreams full of head, so I move slowly but surely.

Self-taught, I prefer to work with natural light and the beauty of mother nature. I have a little studio experience.
I like traveling, discovering new horizons, new cultures and people.

My goal in living my passion is to "Light up your life with colors" by immortalizing important moments in your life.
Trust, kindness and mutual respect are important to me. I hope these are quality that you will find at home and that my photography work will make you travel and you will see colors full eyes!

But , why the Chameleon?

Its advantages
"One eye able to watch the ground while the other is looking up, a click (a tongue) that springs like a spring to capture the key moments (insects), and a proverbial faculty to change color: with all these assets, chameleons are skilled acrobats and good hunters (of images). "All terrain, the chameleon adapts itself to all environments" like I try to adapt myself to the moment I'm capturing.

The chameleon loves the heat and warms himself in the sun. (Hence the importance of immersing oneself in the temperature/emotion of people and of the event)

Emotion makes him change color
His weapons, more subtle, are immobility and camouflage. It blends into the landscape. It has an impressive color scheme. It is these colors that I like to sublimate!

A still hunter with piercing eyes
It has a sophisticated eyepiece device that allows each eye, by movements in all directions, to cover a field of about 180 ° horizontally and 90 ° vertically. As soon as his right eye spots an insect, for example a locust, the chameleon turns its head towards its prey and converges its two eyes towards it, the binocular vision allowing a better appreciation of the distance.

Sensitive to light and heat
Sensitive to light and heat, its changes depend on the reactions of the animal, but especially the thermal changes in its environment and the light intensity that affect the functioning of the chromatophores.

My definition
Another definition that comes from me is my ability to adapt to situations.
I am like a "chameleon".
My medium and long term vision is like "the piercing eye of the chameleon". My positivity and my joy-of-life represent all the colors (that can imitate the chameleon).
Because life is filled with beautiful colors and feelings, that's what I want to share with you!

Sophie
